My Marriage from Michigan

Barbara’s villa is breathtaking. We had a small destination wedding with close family and friends and it was an absolute dream. Our group of 16 fit very comfortably for a several day stay. The views are out of this world. Barbara’s parents tended to the grounds and pool each morning and the property is very well kept. We had the ceremony in the veranda which is draped in (delicious) Concord grape vines and has panoramic views of the countryside littered with olive trees and a nice vantage point of the castle in town. The reception followed and we had the optional onsite chef (Theresa) prepare and serve a traditional Tuscan four course meal which was outstanding (she is adorable). Barbara was always answering any messages within minutes and overall was just so nice, helpful and accommodating. She even found us a local florist for the wedding at a much better cost than the more well known florists in Florence, and the florist absolutely nailed it, flower crowns and all. We will be back, even if it is just in one of the smaller apartments within the villa. Thank you Barbara + parents + Theresa and her crew! A memory of a lifetime.

The location is stunning. Barbara is really helpful. The pool is nice and clean. The bathroom is really small but the rest of the apartment is big. Would recommend Apartment for 4 persons.

Entspannen Sie sich in der Toskana mit Frau und Baby

Quartier mit traumhafter Aussicht, vielen tollen Außensitzplätzen und sehr schönem Innenbereich. Der Pool ist traumhaft. Barbara war eine sehr hilfsbereite Vermieterin mit tollen Tipps für Restaurants etc. Zur Begrüßung war das Quartier mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail für uns hergerichtet - sogar Blumen, Wein, Öl und Brot erwarteten uns. Wir waren mit Baby dort und können die Unterkunft jedem nur empfehlen. Sie ist ideal zum erholen. Einen kleinen Abzug bekommt das sehr, sehr kleine Bad (kann man aber auf den Foto vorher erkennen) mit ein wenig Schimmel in der Ecke der Dusche. Zu bemerken ist auch noch, dass die Waschmaschine sehr klein ist (2-3kg). Das hat uns aber nicht gestört.

Holiday in Tuscany with my wife in friends

We loved the House so much. Beautiful view, quite and friendly. Barbara was such a good host. The house is good for couples and familys as well. We loved the pool and the nice garden. Everything was so perfect. Barbara’s parents were such a nice people. :)

Ein langer Urlaub bei Barbara zu Hause

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Toskana bei Barbara! Das Anwesen und der Ausblick von dort war traumhaft. Der Garten ist sehr weitläufig, man findet immer eine ruhige Ecke, so dass man sich mit den anderen Gästen nicht in die Quere kommt. Der Poolbereich ist wunderschön und sehr ruhig gelegen. Von dem Anwesen aus sind alle großen Ziele der Toskana (Pisa, Florenz, Lucca, San gemignano...) super erreichbar. Barbara ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, die immer erreichbar ist, auf alle Fragen antwortet und viele Tipps bezüglich Essen gehen, Ausflügen usw hat. Wir würden einen Urlaub bei Barbara jederzeit empfehlen!

Calme et relax

Endroit calme avec une vue splendide sur la Toscane au milieu des oliviers. La propriété est agréable. La piscine idéale. Barbara est très accueillante et nous a donné plusieurs infos pour notre séjour. Nous recommandons ce logement!

My boyfriend and me

We had a wonderful time during our stay! Barbara is a great host and the view is amazing. Lovely area to do some amazing Italian sightseeing. Barbara and her family are welcoming and by arrival we were surpised with some local goodies to eat (fantastic olive oil, tuscan tomatoes, cookies and some other products!). Would love to come back someday!

Our holiday in Tuscany

Amazing apartment up in the tuscan hills. Some fantastic views, a lovely pool, and a beautiful place. Highly recommend trips out to lucca, Pistoia and prato (as well as firenze, of course). But most of all, can't rate Barbara highly enough. Her local contacts are legendry and through her we had an experience of tuscan well never forget! Very, very highly recommended

Family meeting from Argentina/Canada/Belgio/France

The apartment is part of a lovely Tuscan house, conveniently located close to Pisa, Lucca, Vinci, Florence and other towns and cities. It was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Barbara was very helpful with tips and recommendations and she was available right away every time we contacted her. Fantásticas vacaciones en Toscana

Nuestra estadía en la casa Glicina fue increíble , nos reunimos todo el grupo familiar con2 niños y tuvimos una experiencia inmejorable. Destaco las increíbles vistas a la campiña desde el frente de la casa las galerías donde comíamos y desde la pileta y la hospitalidad y atención de Bárbara. lo recomendamos!!!!!!!

Vacanza indimenticabile

Un'esperienza di soggiorno indimenticabile, sicuramente da ripetere.
Bilocale pulito, accogliente, in stile rustico toscano, spazioso, illuminato adeguatamente, e posto al p.t. con resede corredato da tavolo, sedie e ombrellone ad uso privato. Qui é possibile passare giornate in pieno relax prendendo il sole e nuotando nella bellissima piscina. Inoltre a disposizione di ogni appartamento vi é un'area verde attreezzata anch'essa con tavoli e sedie ad uso privato su terrazza panoramica da cui si può ammirare il tipico paesaggio toscano mentre si prende un aperitivo, si pranza e si cucina al barbecue. Anche le notti offrono silenzio e celi stellati. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Bulgaria company

Beautiful place in the heart of Tuscany! We were looking for a relatively remote place in Tuscany, away from crouds and big towns and we were not disappointed! The appartment had everything we needed for an unforgettable holiday - convenient kitchen with all appliances needed for self-catering , nice rooms arranged in the typical Tuscany style. We particularly valued Barbara's welcome when we arrived late and she had to come and help us find our way to the property. The only little inconvenience was that the wi-fi was so weak we never managed to connect to it and that reduced our chances of booking museums and attractions in advance. Apart from that, the place is a gem!

Some day in Tuscany countryside

The real bonus of Barbara appartement is the fantastic terrace with an amazing view to the tuscan countryside (it is even nicer than the photos). It is also a very quiet place which makes it very relaxing. Even if you feel in the middle of nowhere there is still a restaurant or a COOP at less than 10 minutes drive. The appartment is very convenient and has a nice "old house" touch. It is in accordance with the photos. Barbara was a very good host, flexible for check-in and check-out procedures and times. One amazing experience we had: fireflies flying at night in the olive trees below the terrace. It looked like someone had put blinking garlands in the olive trees

A week in relax

The place is beautiful, quiet and relaxed. The view is breathtaking and the pool is very relaxing. The house is very typical Italian, with all of the utensils we needed . Everything was clean when we arrived, even the bugs were very few - given that you're in the countryside. Barbara was very helpful and responsive all the time. She has put a thought in everything.

Nir’s Family in a snow holiday surprise

We had a large family gathering in Barbara's house (11 people). We were caught in an unexpectedly bad weather, and the house was our perfect getaway. It is large, cool and stylish old house. Perfect for either finding a quiet corner and reading a book or having a large family dinner. The surroundings are absolutely amazing, and Barbara a great host - responded quickly and accomodated all our needs.

La villa è molto bella e spaziosa; eravamo in 14 e siamo stati più che comodi. La casa è dotata di ampi spazi, anche esterni, e di un panorama fantastico. Barbara, l'host, si è dimostrata estremamente cortese e disponibile, sempre rintracciabile, ci ha persino guidati nell'ultimo tratto di strada dal paese di Larciano alla casa per mostrarci il percorso (un po' impervio nella sua parte finale, ma fattibile). Nel complesso, la consiglio vivamente!

Esperienza unica immersa nelle colline toscane

La villa ha una posizione magnifica, domina il paese di Larciano ed è sempre baciata dal.sole. La struttura è curata in ogni minimo particolare, stanze ampie e ben arredate. La proprietaria gentilissima ci ha fatto sentire "come a casa"!!! Ha tutte le comodità che servono compreso barbecue, sedie a sdraio, piscina, forno, caminetto... un esperienza unica!!!

ein Mädchen im Urlaub in SORBI

Die Unterkunft bei Barbara ist einfach unglaublich schön. Der Ausblick ist der Hammer und der Pool einfach genial. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und alle Absprachen haben sehr gut funktioniert. Als ich ein Problem mit meinem Auto hatte, hat mir der Papa von Barbara sehr liebevoll geholfen. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und möchte irgendwann wieder hinfahren.

14 people from Norway

We stayed 14 people at I Sorbi for two weeks in July, and enjoyed every minute. The villa is placed beautifully in the hills above Castello Larciano, in the middle of an olive orchard, and with a spectacular view of the castello, Larciano village and the Tuscan plains. The olive oil produced from the olives grown on the property is wonderful and can be purchased from the family. The patio/garden area is extremely well kept, with flowers, herbs and fruit trees all around the farm house. The pool was cleaned every morning, and was extremely popular with kids and adults alike on hot midsummer days. Larciano village w/supermarket down the hill and very good restaurant/pizzeria up the hill both only 5 min drive from the house. Pistoia, Vinci less than 30 min drive, Florence, Lucca, Pisa about 1 hour drive from the house. All in all a perfect place to stay to explore Tuscany.

At I Sorbi, we found a little bit of paradise in Tuscany. It's a really stylish, comfortable house with lots of space for our large group. Lazy afternoons by the pool, followed by fantastic evenings outdoors with meals prepared in one of several well equipped kitchens and outdoor barbecues. Lots to see and do in the area - from Leonardo de Vinci's birthplace to the opulent splendour of Florence. And Barbara is the perfect host - lots of helpful hints and advice. Even happy to bring us freshly baked bread for our breakfast. If you appreciate comfort, style and atmosphere then I Sorbi is just right for you. Ten out of ten.

Romantic Villa

Il Sorbi far exceeded our expectations. We stayed for just over a week and the house was a perfect fit for our large group of several families, including young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house, in the pool and particularly our dinners overlooking the valley. Barbara and her family were the perfect hosts and even organized morning pastries and a traditional Italian dinner for us. Lots of great day trips were made from the villa - Vinci was a particular favorite. All together, Il Sorbi was the perfect backdrop for our Tuscan adventure. We made memories to last a lifetime!
